We have answered some of the most common questions for you below.
If you have other questions please contact us.
We are not a church where you need to have on your Sunday best. We believe it is our lives lived with God that brings out our best, not the way we are dressed. We encourage you to wear what you are comfortable in, whether that is jeans and t-shirt or shirt and tie. We do not care about your style, we care about you.
What can I expect on a Sunday morning?
You can expect to be greeted at the front doors by a warm smile and friendly faces. You can expect to have people offer to help show you around and help you feel comfortable. You can expect the service to go about 1 hour, with music, prayer, and a meaningful message. We want you to be comfortable and enjoy church.
What about my kids?
We care about children and desire for our kids to enjoy church too. Our children join us for the first half of our worship service during singing and prayer time. We then dismiss the children to children's church (grades K-6). For their enjoyment and growth, we have exciting activity based learning that focuses on getting them out of their seats and into God's love. We provide a nursery for infants and a preschool class during this time as well. We love having children stay with their parents as well, so we understand if you would rather keep your children with you in the service.
Will I be asked to give money?
If you are a guest you are not expected or asked to give as we take our offering. At Chapel Hill, we believe in being generous with our lives (of which our money is just a small part). To put it simply, we are not interested in your money, we are interested in you.
What kind of music can I expect?
We love all music types. On Sunday mornings, we sing a mixture of hymns and contemporary worship songs. Our worship team is accompanied by a keyboard, guitars, and drums.
Will I be singled out as a first time guest?
No, we will not single you out. We want you to feel comfortable and welcome at Chapel Hill. We encourage everyone to fill out a welcome sheet during the service so we may get to know you better.
